International Immersions

As part of our bilingual and intercultural training, we offer international immersions designed to strengthen English proficiency and provide enriching cultural experiences.

These immersions are offered in partnership with Estudiar en el Exterior (estudiarenelexterior.co), (studyabroad.coa company specializing in academic and cultural programs in various countries that promotes second-language proficiency and the development of global competencies.

Experience a unique academic immersion in the United Kingdom. Students from St. Mary's Benedictine School attend classes at Upton Junior School and explore London, strengthening their bilingual skills in a real-world setting.

This is a 3-week intensive program designed for young people interested in business. Participants will attend 15 weekly lessons covering topics such as business, finance, marketing, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on practical application. They will also participate in five daytime activities each week, including company visits and creativity workshops, as well as seven evening events that offer cultural and sightseeing experiences to explore Dubai and its dynamic business landscape.

Six-month immersion program in Canada for ages 15 to 17

In addition to the experiences available through Estudiar en el Exterior, we offer students aged 15 to 17 two full-semester international immersion opportunities in Canada. This program is in partnership with the (Waterloo Catholic District School Board – WCDSB), a well-known network of public and Catholic schools in Ontario.

The first modality is academic, enabling students to seamlessly integrate into the Canadian educational system within an environment that combines academic excellence with Catholic values. The second option features an introductory engineering program in collaboration with St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School, a leading institution in the same district.

Both experiences, located in Kitchener, Waterloo, and Cambridge, foster comprehensive student development in mind, body, and spirit, demonstrating the St. Mary's Benedictine School’s dedication to global education, bilingualism, and 21st-century skills.

Awareness and Vocational Exploration

From the outset, we ignite enthusiasm for studying abroad through fairs, presentations, and alumni panels. After this initial phase, students engage in self-discovery and vocational guidance workshops. In these sessions, they acquire the skills to independently explore academic opportunities using specialized university databases.

Admissions and Achievement Advising

To enhance their profiles, students undergo training in standardized testing and essay writing skills. We also offer technical guidance on scholarship applications and managing immigration procedures. The process concludes with a celebration of each admission, honoring the perseverance and dedication of our community.
