Attention to Diversity

At Santa Maria Benedictine College, we believe there are many ways to learn, and from that understanding, we develop strategies that individually strengthen the educational process for students who require it. It is important to highlight that this is a collaborative effort between family and school.

 

What specific actions did we generate?

 

• We guide the curriculum flexibility process in accordance with Universal Design for Learning.
• We support teachers in Individualized Reasonable Accommodation Plans (PIAR).
• We advise parents or guardians on supporting the learning process of their children or wards.
• We provide strategies to strengthen or enhance basic learning devices for students who need them; attention, sensory perception, language, memory, motivation, and habituation.

 

We are oriented toward inclusive education and educational attention to diversity.
