This year, we celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Benedictine College of Santa Maria, a special moment to reflect on our impact on the community and how we have shaped leaders who, through their work, demonstrate the values learned at the institution.
We are recognized for our Benedictine Spirit and promote values such as hospitality and solidarity, which encompass our graduates and make them stand out in any field they work in.
Since our inception, we have maintained a focus on the comprehensive development of students, which goes beyond the acquisition of knowledge. The education provided centers on the formation of individuals who are aware of their social responsibility and committed to the well-being of others.
Innovative transformation
Seven years ago, we underwent a significant transformation by adopting a coeducational model, allowing girls to join our educational community. This decision reflected our commitment to our institutional value: Inclusivity. The inclusion of women in our institution has been an enriching experience for the entire community.
Innovation has also been a fundamental part of the school's transformation. We have committed to an educational proposal centered on 21st-century youth, who must be prepared to face the challenges of a constantly changing world.
Entrepreneurship and innovation education has become a priority, and an environment conducive to developing the necessary skills and knowledge for a world that doesn't stop and increasingly demands more competencies has been created.
The evolution towards a co-educational model and an educational proposal focused on innovation and entrepreneurship position us as a leading institution in training young people for the future.
