It is very important for us to provide students with growth experiences through the immersions and exchanges we offer at our institution, which will allow our students to have cultural and academic experiences different from their daily environment. Here we share some of these:
- In May, we're going to England for the Immersion!
This is a scheduled experience for 5th, 6th, and 7th graders in 2022, who will have a Academic and cultural experience in English, accompanied by teachers from our school.
Twin English Centre It is the host institution, which operates in an 18th-century mansion belonging to a Duke and declared an architectural heritage site of the city. Students will be accommodated in the boarding school's residence.
This immersion program consists of 25 academic sessions per week, including English language learning, arts, history, geography, and natural sciences; in addition to 10 hours dedicated to study tours and sports and recreational activities.
- In July, we will travel to Huntsville, Alabama!
The camp in Alabama will allow 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students to have a significant experience with American Heroes Camp, NASA Space Camp, and a classic summer camp for teenagers.
They will be at the high school for two weeks. St. Bernard in Alabama, United States, one week in a classic American camp and a weekend at Space Camp at NASA.
- Our immersion in Canada begins in August!
This time, our 8th, 9th, and 10th graders are completing their secondary education in public schools in three neighboring cities. Vancouver, which areLangley, Abbotsford y Kelowna (British Columbia) and your lodging is with local families, who are called “Homestay families” o “Host families.
The immersion program lasts 22 weeks, or 5 months. During this time, students interact in English with native speakers about aspects inherent to Canadian and Colombian culture.
